Abstract: Weaver Leather (Weaver) is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high quality leather products. While primarily a B2B company, Weaver decided to leverage its strong brand recognition by offering products directly to consumers in addition to automating B2B operations. Needing an Ecommerce and mobile commerce solution that was tightly integrated to JD Edwards E1, Weaver implemented SmarterCommerce Ecommerce to build and launch its B2C site in just 120 days. With SmarterCommerce and Sitefinity CMS, Weaver has taken a 'mobile-first' approach delivering an optimized user experience on tablets and smart phone using responsive design and MVC. The results speak for themselves with sales growing steadily month after month. Since its initial website launch, Weaver has added 5 more JDE-integrated websites to support its various divisions with both B2B and B2C deployments. This presentation highlights some keys to successfully launching a JDE-integrated websites.
